The Paul Powell Law Firm, along with a few local businesses, came together to host a picnic for those in the community greatly affected by the stressful government shutdown. Our goal was to relieve anxiety and focus on the good for our hard-working locals and their families.
We provided warm meals, free haircuts, and fun for the kids. Due tdo not receiving paychecks, many struggled financially, even with gas to attend the event. We are grateful the shutdown has ended and hope these families find comfort in knowing that we are there for them in their time of need.
