Paul Pays It Forward: Past Events

On July 16, 2019, The Paul Powell Law Firm hosted its Christmas in July Giveaway over the course of 12 days.

Pop Up & Give is a monthly event with multiple locations that provides food to our food insecure communities. They host the Pop Up & Give projects the last week of every month, when families need food the most.

Please stop by our booth as we hand out pet swag and have some fun! Our staff are animal lovers and we are so excited to be a sponsor of this pet-friendly event!

Three Square has joined forces with numerous community partners to provide bags of nutritious, single-serving, ready-to-eat food items each Friday during the school year to children who might otherwise go without during weekends and long breaks from school.

Paul Powell, along with his staff, will be handing out 500 Easter baskets and 25,000 lbs. of food provided by The Just One Project.

The Just One Project’s Pop Up & Give events provide food to our food insecure communities. They host the Pop Up & Give projects the last week of every month, when families need food the most. With an average of 100,000+ pounds of food given, the Pop Up & Give project has the goal of providing households with weeks’ worth of groceries. We are proud to be a corporate partner with this organization, as we gave away 24,000 pounds of food in a 2 hour period!

Walk For Wishes® is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 300,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It’s a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors and friends. We walk so they can wish!

The Paul Powell Law Firm, along with a few local businesses, came together to host a picnic for those in the community greatly affected by the stressful government shutdown. Our goal was to relieve anxiety and focus on the good for our hard-working locals and their families. We provided warm meals, free haircuts, and fun for the kids. Due tdo not receiving paychecks, many struggled financially, even with gas to attend the event. We are grateful the shutdown has ended and hope these families find comfort in knowing that we are there for them in their time of need.

We were able to give away 6 pairs of tickets to this incredible event at the T-Mobile arena on January 25. We hope these lucky winners had a blast!

We spent the afternoon at the Boulevard mall working with La Buena 101.9 at their 3 Kings celebration (El Dia de Reyes). The firm sponsored the raffling of 35 bikes/safety helmets for kids. We wanted to raffle off more bikes but we were unable to due so due to the radio station restrictions. For a lot of these kids, even the older ones, they told Paul it was the first bike they ever received. It was cool to see how excited they were getting these bikes, their hearts filled with joy. The most touching experience yesterday was one boy named Daniel won a bike. Instead of picking out a bigger bike, he picked out this tiny training bike. Paul said, “That is way too small for you! Have you ever had a bike?” He said “no I never have … but I’m giving this to my little brother instead.” ☹ Along with several other families, we got his mom’s info to make sure Daniel and his brothers will be happy bike riders for years to come.
